Plain & Irie from the Cornfields

Two albums, one message: simple living, heavy bass, humble hearts.

Plain & Irie (the first album)

Our origin hymn. Plain & Irie blends the Amish Lob Lied spirit with dub’s heartbeat. Plain meets irie, and the good earth knows.

Land Based Reggae (simultaneous release)

Built in barns and backyards. Reggae with dirt under its nails—field songs, work chants, and slow-burn hymns. We tracked with the crickets, mixed with the butter churn, and kept the power off whenever we could.

Backstory

Rasta Buggy began when two brothers dragged a buggy across a field for album art and never stopped dragging weird ideas into the light. We write hymns for people who fix fences at dawn and dance at dusk. No ego, no noise—just plain and irie.
